This particular part number features white illumination and integrated support for a headset microphone. It also includes a Bluetooth Low Energy module which facilitates a one-to-one connection with the user’s personal smartphone or tablet device via the Storm Touchless-CX app.

The Angled AudioNav is an assistive USB device offering menu navigation by means of audible direction. Users with impaired vision, reading difficulties or impaired fine motor skills can navigate through menus or directories that would typically be presented on a visual display or touch screen. Screen content is presented and summarised by recorded or synthesized language via a headset or handset. Menu pages and available options can be navigated and selected using this responsive and highly tactile keypad device. The EF product designation refers to Extended Functionality denoting that this device includes provision for adjustment of both sound volume and speed of audio playback. The device also supports the use of headsets and handsets with integrated microphones for applications requiring speech reception.

Installation of the Angled AudioNav must be at a height suitable for wheelchair and non-wheelchair users. Ensuring that the AudioNav can be seen and used comfortably by both seated and standing users can be challenging, but the innovative housing of the Angled AudioNav addresses this by presenting the device at an optimal angle.

Requiring only a simple cutout in the kiosk panel, the Angled AudioNav includes 2 pegs to ensure precise location and is fixed with 8 off M3 Plastite screws (not supplied). The Angled AudioNav is supplied fitted with a 0.9m USB cable.
