Storm Keypads - Improved Visibility and Durability

In accordance with our objective to make Storm keypads as accessible as they can be, we have improved the visibility and durability of keytop graphics in dirty or exposed environments. Field testing has confirmed that adoption of white keytops, with black laser engraved keytop graphics and a clearly defined keytop boundary makes Storm keypads more usable by all operators, including those with sensory impairment or limited fine motor skills. This brighter, high contrast colour scheme also creates a more contemporary and attractive aesthetic.

Please note that this enhanced keytop visibility is in no way detrimental to the keyboard’s fit, form or function.

This change to the key colour (from black to white) is to be implemented on products shipped after January 1st 2025. Please see the list below for the part numbers affected by this change:
