Alternative AudioNav

This Product Notice is to inform our customers that it has been necessary to develop and offer an additional, alternative version of Storm’s popular 6 key AudioNav. This additional version of the AudioNav product uses an alternative microprocessor of similar specification. Use of the alternative microprocessor does not have any detrimental effect on the function or performance of AudioNav products in any way. The panel cut out and front face of the AudioNav are unchanged. AudioNavs manufactured using the alternative chip will continue to offer users a highly tactile and audio enabled interface to navigate menu based content that would typically be presented via a visual display or touch screen.

The alternative microchip is however slightly larger than the original. We have therefore implemented some minor dimensional changes to the rear casing of the AudioNav to accommodate it. Those changes are detailed in the file below and CAD files for the ‘alternative’ AudioNav can be found online at https://www.storm-interface.com/media/AudioNav/Alternative%20AudioNav%20CAD.zip.
